By creating an account or scanning a locotags NFC tag, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
locotags provides a digital identification platform for pets and personal items using NFC technology. We do not provide GPS tracking hardware; our location services rely on passive scanning by third parties.
3. Cloud Services & Data
Our service relies on Google Firebase. We are not responsible for:
- Downtime caused by Google Cloud Platform outages.
- Data loss due to catastrophic cloud infrastructure failures (though we take precautions).
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal tracking or stalking.
- Upload malicious code or offensive content to your tag profiles.
- Attempt to access accounts that do not belong to you.
5. Limitation of Liability
locotags is provided "AS IS". We are not liable for any lost pets, luggage, or items, regardless of whether our service was used. We do not guarantee that a lost item will be found or that a scanner will share their location.
6. Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or appear to be used for malicious purposes.
7. Return & Refund Policy
All sales are final. Because our products (NFC tags and stickers) are personalized and custom-printed for each user, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.
However, if you receive a defective product or if there is an error in your order, please contact our support team immediately. We are committed to ensuring you have a working product and will work with you to resolve any manufacturing defects or shipping issues.
