How do I set up my tag?

Simply tap the tag with your smartphone. You'll be directed to a setup page where you can create an account and enter your contact details. No app installation is required!

Is it waterproof?

Yes! Locotags are IP67 water-resistant and durable enough to withstand daily adventures with your pet or travel luggage.

Does it need a battery?

No batteries required! Locotags use passive NFC technology, powered by the smartphone that scans them. They last forever.

What phones are compatible?

Locotags work with all modern smartphones (iPhone XR and newer, and most Android phones from 2017 onwards) without any app.

How do I turn on NFC?

Most phones have NFC on by default. If yours isn't working, check these guides:

Troubleshoot: How to re-write my tag?

If your tag isn't opening the right page, you may need to re-write the NFC link. Download any "NFC Tools" app on your phone and write this URL to your tag:
locotags.in/claim/(YOUR TAG ID)
